We're not just a Multiple Listing Service

The Elmira-Corning Regional Association of REALTORSâ, Inc. is a 350+ member organization of professionals engaged in every aspect of the real estate industry and is governed by a Board of Directors.  Membership benefits include ongoing education, resources, and support services to enhance member’s professional development.

Our membership consists of licensed real estate agents and appraisers, who are known as REALTORS®.  REALTOR® is a registered trademark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and subscribes to a strict code of Ethics.  Our REALTOR® members belong to the New York State Association of REALTORS® (NYSAR)as well.  The ECAR membership also consists of Affiliate members.  These Affiliate members provide valuable services in the real estate industry; they include financial lenders, home inspectors, and more.

The Elmira-Corning Regional Association of REALTORSâ, Inc. also facilitates the Multiple Listing Service, which is defined as a means of which one Participant makes a blanket unilateral offer of compensation to the other Participants and as a facility for the orderly correlation and dissemination of listing information among the Participants so that they may better serve their clients and the public.

  • REALTOR MEMBERSHIPâ - Use this application to apply for REALTORâ membership with ECRAR. You must be an active licensed real estate agent or a licensed or certified appraiser to apply for this membership. (If applying for MLS only membership, you must hold primary membership at another Association.)
  • DESIGNATED REALTORâ - Use this application to become or change the designated REALTORâ for your real estate or appraisal company.
  • DESIGNATED REALTOR MLS ONLYâ - Designated REALTORSâ use this application to apply for MLS only membership. Applicant must hold primary membership at another Association.
  • AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP - Use this application if your compay has an interest in the real estate profession, such as a lender, home inspector, insurance agent, advertisement company etc.
  • AFFILIATE EMPLOYEE MEMBERSHIP - Use this application if you are an employee of an affiliate member.
